NEW DELHI: The Trinbago Knight Riders returned to their home ground, the Queen's Park Oval in Trinidad, to face off against the Guyana Amazon Warriors . The team was excited to be back home after a successful away stint and were determined to make this game even more special with a comprehensive victory.

The responsibility of chasing down the target now fell on the shoulders of the TKR batsmen. Openers Sunil Narine and Shaqkere Parris aimed to start the run-chase aggressively, but Narine was dismissed early. Parris and Keacy Carty then joined forces to stabilize the innings, but both fell in quick succession.

This match was particularly significant as it saw the legendary DJ Bravo receive a guard of honour from all TKR players and a hero's welcome. As a tribute to his legacy, TKR sported a special jersey with Bravo's iconic number 47 and 'Thank You DJ' written on the backs.

Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR) took control early in their match against Guyana Amazon Warriors (GAW) when Akeal Hosein dismissed Kevin Sinclair, setting the tone for TKR's dominance. Spinners Sunil Narine and Waqar Salamkheil further tightened the grip.

GAW, however, managed to post a competitive 148, thanks to Romario Shepherd 's late-innings fireworks.

In response, TKR stumbled to 89-5, with GAW seemingly in control. But Andre Russell and Tim David turned the game around, with Russell smashing sixes and David hitting two back-to-back sixes in the final over to secure a thrilling victory.

This win, their second come-from-behind triumph, highlights TKR's resilience and emerging match-winners.
