Dinosaur Grow a Garden 'Corrupted update' released: New mutations, seeds, Kitsune NPCs and more

Roblox ’s popular game — Dinosaur Grow a Garden has released the much-awaited Corruption update which has changed the previous tranquil Zen-themed farming of the game. The update went live at 7:00 AM PT, introducing a wave of new features including Corrupt mutations, rare seeds, and exotic NPCs like the Corrupt Channeler and Corrupted Kitsune . The core of this transformation is the introduction of the Corrupt mutation , characterised by a swirling red aura around fruits. During hourly "Zen Aura" events, which now have a chance to mutate into a "Corrupt Zen Aura," fruits can randomly acquire this new trait.

Players are tasked with submitting "Tranquil-mutated" fruits to the enigmatic Corrupt Channeler NPC to earn Corruption Points. These points contribute to the growth of a central "Corrupt Tree," unlocking further mutations and tiered rewards as corruption levels increase. However, this progression resets with each hourly Zen event, adding a layer of strategic urgency.

To balance these cosmic energies, gardeners must also engage with the new Kitsune NPC in the lobby, submitting six Corrupt and six Tranquil fruits. Successfully completing this balancing act yields special rewards, including new seeds and high-tier pets.

• New Seeds: Six new seeds have been introduced: Sakura Bush, Dezen, Lucky Bamboo, Enkaku, Tranquil Bloom, and Elder Strawberry. Among these, Lucky Bamboo is particularly lucrative, boasting an average sell price of approximately 110,000 coins.
• Corrupted Kitsune Pet: A standout addition is the ultra-rare Corrupted Kitsune pet, rumored to have only a 1% drop chance from Kitsune Chests. Its devastating passive ability removes nine existing mutations from nine different fruits and applies "Corrupted Chakra" to a random fruit, sometimes upgrading to the even rarer "Foxfire Chakra."
• New Tools and Items: The update also brings new items like the Corrupt Staff, which grants Corrupt mutations to nearby plants during Corrupt Aura events, and the Corrupt Mutation Spray for manual application of the mutation. A Corrupted Pet Mutation Shard is available in the Zen shop to give pets Corrupt mutation traits.
• Corrupted Kodama Pet: Another rare spawn, the Corrupted Kodama, offers a 4% chance to mutate crops at harvest.
• Reinstated Features: Addressing user feedback, the update has also brought back pet gifting and patched duplication bugs, improving overall game stability and player experience.
