NEW DELHI: DC Sharma, the senior most joint DG of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation ( DGCA ), is the new DG of the aviation regulatory body . Vikram Dev Dutt , a senior IAS officer who was the DG has been made coal secretary, and the Govt has decided Sharma will hold additional charge as DG.
“Consequent upon relinquishing of chare by V D Dutt, Dinesh Chand Sharma, joint DG in the DGCA, shall hold the additional charge of the post of Director General of Civil Aviation in addition to his allocated duties for a period of three months or until further orders, whichever is earlier,” an order issued by the Union aviation ministry on Monday said.
