After ten prisoners escaped from a New Orleans jail break , leaving a message behind implying that it was too easy to break jail, police spokesperson Major Stephanie Minto-Gibson was mocked for her glasses, which MAGA called ridiculous and 'wokism at its best'.
" New Orleans police spokeswoman wears gigantic green glasses to give a press conference about 10 escaped inmates," one post mentioned.
Gibson was wearing green, pentagonal glasses as she addressed the press.
What happened in New Orleans? How did the jailbreak take place?
The inmates fled around midnight and it was discovered during a headcount. Surveillance footage has now been released showing the moment the inmates broke free. Sheriff Susan Huston said there was no way that this could have been pulled off without inside help.
One inmate was apprehended in New Orleans' French Quarter, police said. The other nine are considered "armed and dangerous", the Orleans Parish Sheriff's Office said, adding that a manhunt was continuing.
The inmates apparently ripped a toilet from the wall and used the hole to exit. The sheriff's office released images of the hole in the wall, which shows what the piping fixture looked like before the toilet was ripped out. The photos notes that "there are clean cuts" on the metal bars, which facilitated their escape. The photos also showed messages on the wall apparently left behind by the inmates.
With a wrong spelling, the inmates wrote on the wall 'To Easy, LOL' with an arrow pointing to the hole. It also showed a smiley face with its tongue out and another message, partially smudged, that appeared to tell officers to catch the inmates when they can.
They were all dressed in their white and orange prison garb when they fled one by one. The gang scaled a fence, using the blanket to avoid being cut by barbed wire, and then sprinted across the nearby interstate and into a neighborhood, authorities said.

With talent like this I'm shocked the inmates were able to break out of the facility run by this office. Shocked I say...#CityLife #NewOrleans #jailbreak… pic.twitter.com/f5oYHbK7Kc
